I shot this the first week in August. I was so surprised it was so full of flowers. Although I was told that the week before was even more spectacular.

Eleanor - love your work! I like taking landscapes as well, but not as good! what kind of equipment are you using? Digital? or 35mm? or medium format? This shot plus a couple of others made me say "WHERE did she find that???"

Hi Nancy, I have a sister named Nancy. Thank you very much. I use a Digital Canon 10D & 30D, I have a couple of L series lenses 17-40 & a 70-200, I use the 100 mm macro from Canon as well. I love that lens, a couple of filters ND & a polarizer. Nothing fancy. I use photoshop as my dark room. This particular tree is down a country road in Jackson, Ca.Even locals don't know where this tree is. And you have to drive right through it. It is funny people don't see things. I see everything. Well I try to see everything. There is a picture waiting to be captured just about anywhere you look. Thanks again. Happy Holidays
