It is human nature to try to capture and express feelings of "Love of Life" and "Love of Nature". This has been achieved through poetry, paintings, sculpture and photography, just to mention a few of the visual arts. However, it takes more than possession of the so called "tools of the trade" to capture and express the beauty that surrounds us. It takes a creative talent that only a gifted few are granted each generation or so.
It is precisely this creative gift that can be found in every one of Eleanor Caputo's magnificent photos. Whether they are scenic, still life or portraits, Eleanor’s strive for perfection and her uncanny eye for beauty is evident in her work.

An award winning photographer, Eleanor recently took 2nd place in the macro division for her Praying Mantis and honorable mention for her Preston Castle series, in the 2006 International Photographer of the Year Awards. She is also published in B&W Magazine's Single Image Contest Annual 2005.
